The Pier.

Sitting on the pier

I can see Jersey and Staten Island from here

I wonder hoe deep the water is

It’s spring but Jack Frost

Lingers near

The clouds block the Sun

But his light still peaks through

His rays shinning down on the sea

It seems that the angels are here too

The sounds of the waves

Fishermen talking about their day

The park is still closed but don’t worry

It’ll open soon in a few days

I like the calmness

The beach is so peaceful

And charming

I feel at home

By the waters

I wish to live here

And to stop growing up

The seagulls sit on the sand

Either singing

Or bothering humans

I wonder how cold the water is

It’s gentle current won’t hurt me

But maybe

It can hide my tears

Just a suffering Victorian era ghost stuck in the past but loves modern music, sushi, and singing despite being really boring.
