The Siren’s Song.

Do you hear the siren’s song

The one that causes mighty ships to sink

And death to befall

Those who hear it’s call

It’s lovely voice

So hypnotic

It whispers of treasures of the sea

That waits at the bottom

So beautiful

Their melody gets stuck in your head

Until you want to claw your eyes out

Or sleep on the seabed

Don’t become erratic

It’s what they want

Don’t become ecstatic

Your heart will pump faster

And faster

Until it just stops

Either that

Or you’ll get lost in a fog

Or thrown overboard

By a storm

That the siren’s caused

You’ll meet a grisly end my friend

Drowned or eaten alive

By sirens who were looking for a meal

All because you heard their melodic lies

~a sleepy ghost~

Just a suffering Victorian era ghost stuck in the past but loves modern music, sushi, and singing despite being really boring.
